AISSEE 2022 Result

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced the results for the All India Sainik Schools Entrance Exam or AISSEE 2022. Students and guardians can now check the results from the official websites – ntaresults.nic.in and aissee.nta.nic.in. Although the merit lists have not been released, they can check the NTA scores. The results have been declared for classes 6 and 9 entrance exams which were conducted on January 09, 2022.

AISSEE 2022 – steps to check

For checking the AISSEE 2022 results, it is mandatory to keep the application number and date of birth ready. Here is how one can check the results from the official website.

Step 1- Go to the primary website of AISSEE 2022 at aissee.nta.nic.in

Step 2- Scroll down the page and click on the link that reads ‘AISSEE 2022 – NTA Score’.

Step 3- A new page will open where the application number and date of birth of the candidate need to be entered.

Step 4- Provide the security pin and click on the ‘Submit’ button.

Step 5- The NTA scorecard will be displayed on the screen.

Step 6- Scroll down and click on the ‘Print’ button to save a copy of the result.

The scorecard contains the candidate’s personal details along with the marks obtained in each subject of the examination. It also displays their qualifying status. If a candidate has qualified for the exam, then the ‘Result’ row will show ‘Qualified in the written test’.

According to the qualifying criterion, a candidate needs to obtain a minimum of 25% marks in each section. The minimum aggregate marks is 40% to be eligible for admission to the Sainik Schools. However, this requirement is not applicable to the SC and ST category candidates.

The NTA scorecard that has been issued will be valid for admission to the classes but it is again subjected to the compliance of other requirements of admission. The merit lists that are prepared school-wise, class-wise, gender-wise and category-wise will be displayed on the official website along with the websites of the respective schools. However, the position of a candidate in the merit list is not comparable across the Sainik Schools.

Please note that merely obtaining qualifying marks in the AISSEE 2022 examination does not guarantee admission. Admission is based on the rank obtained by them in the merit list. Moreover, other criteria such as medical fitness, document verification, vacancies, extant policies, etc. have to be met for admission.
