All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Delhi is inviting applications from eligible candidates to fill up vacancies for the post of Junior Resident for the academic session January 2021. The institute have published a detailed recruitment advertisement in this regard at the official website i.e. aiimsexams.org. Eligible and intending candidates are invited to apply for recruitment to 194 vacancies in various departments. The application process is already open. Candidates must note that the last date of submission of online applications through the website is December 10, 2020.
As per the detailed advertisement, there are 194 total vacancies available across various departments of the institute in Delhi. Candidates are advised to check the detailed advertisement for the complete vacancy bifurcation information across the departments and constitutional categories. Selected candidates will be appointed at the Level 10 of the Central Pay Matrix in the pre-revised Pay Band at the pay scale of Rs 15600 + Grade Pay of Rs 5400. Candidates will be entitled to an entry pay of Rs 56100 as per terms and conditions detailed at the website of the institute.
Aspiring candidates are advised to check the notification for the complete details of the eligibility conditions and ensure that thet are fulfilled before applying for the recruitment. All applicants must have acquired an MBBS or BDS degree along with the completion of the internship in order to apply. The degree must be recognized by MCI/DCI. However, only those candidates who have passed their MBBS/BDS degree between 01.01.2018 and 31.12.2020 will be considered for recruitment to the post of Junior Assistant (Non-Academic). In addition, applicants have to obtain DMC/DDC registration as applicable before joining.
Selection of the eligible applicants will be done through the process of counselling. Candidates about four times the number of vacancies are to be called for counselling in the unreserved category. For the reserved categories including OBC, SC/ST and PWD, all candidates will be called for counselling. Merit of the candidates will be determined on the basis of the rank in the AIIMS PG Entrance Examination November 2020. Those who have not appeared in the exam will be ranked in merit after those who have appeared in the exam. A final combined merit list will be drawn in this manner for the selection of candidates to fill up the vacancies.

As per their order of preference and the order of merit, candidates will be allocated speciality/super-speciality across the available departments at AIIMS, Delhi.
