UPSC Recruitment 2020 For 36 Superintendent & Statistical Officer Post; Details Here

Union Public Service Commission will conduct interview based selection of 36 applicants to fill up vacancies under the Ministry of Law & Justice and Planning Department of the Government of NCT

Union Public Service Commission has advertised 36 vacancies in the Ministry of Law & Justice and Planning Department through Advertisement No. 15/2020. The vacancies are for the posts of Superintendent and Statistical Officer. The detailed advertisement is available online at the Commission’s website i.e. upsc.gov.in. Eligible and intending candidates can apply online after going through all the terms and conditions in the advertisement. The online application process will close on December 17, 2020 while the last date of printing of completely submitted online applications is December 18, 2020.

35 vacancies are available for the post of Statistical Officer (Planning/Statistics) under the Planning Department of the Government of National Capital Territory of Delhi. On the other hand, a single vacancy is available for the post of Superintendent (Printing) under the Legislative Department, Ministry of Law and Justice. Aspiring candidates must ensure that the minimum eligibility conditions specified for each post are fulfilled. In general, Indian nationals within the age of 30 years are eligible to apply for the posts. Candidates having a degree from a recognized university and 3 years or more of experience in proofreading of Bills, Acts, Ordinances in Government Press are eligible to apply for the post of Superintendent. On the other hand, candidates who have a Post Graduate degree in Statistics/Operational Research/Mathematical Statistics/Applied Statistics are eligible to apply. In addition, candidates must also have 1 year of experience in Statistical Work.

Eligible applicants will be shortlisted for selection through an interview on the basis of the information provided in the online applications. Such candidates will be required to send/produce self-attested copies of supporting documents when required by the UPSC. As such, it must be ensured that the information provided through the online application forms is true and correct. During the time of the interview, candidates have to produce the original documents along with self-attested copies and other items as indicated in the interview call letter.

Only online applications will be accepted for this recruitment through the official website of the Commission i.e. upsconline.nic.in. Candidates must scan supporting documents and save them on their devices before starting the application process as these documents must be uploaded with the application form. Candidates also have to pay a fee of Rs 25 by remitting the amount in any SBI branch or internet banking. Debit/Credit card based payments can also be used. Candidates are advised to go through the complete notification carefully before applying.
