Western Railways has released a notification for the engagement of Nursing Superintendent and Clinical Psychologist. As per the official notification, a total of 20 vacancies is announced for the said posts. Interview for the aforementioned posts will be conducted from September 19, 2020, onwards. The application process has already started on September 12, 2020. Eligible candidates are encouraged to submit their forms before September 17, 2020. Out of the 20 Paramedical vacancies, 16 are announced for Nursing Superintendent and 04 for Clinical Psychological. The shortlisted candidates are recruited on a contractual basis for a period up to December 31, 2020. They have to work in COVID-19 wards in Jagjivan Ram Western Railways Hospital, Mumbai Central. The newly recruited Nursing Superintendent gets a monthly salary of Rs. 44,900/- and Clinical Psychologist gets Rs. 35,400/-.
To apply for Nursing Superintendent, candidates should be registered as Nurse and Mid-wife. Such candidates must have 03 years General Nursing and midwifery or B. Sc in Nursing from recognized institutes. Candidates with work experience of the working in a critical unit of more than 15 beds are eligible to apply for the said posts. Those who are applying for Clinical Psychologist should possess a master’s degree in Clinical Psychology/ Social Psychology.
Candidates have to ensure that their age is within the age limit as specified in the notification. To apply for Nursing Superintendent, candidate’s age should be between 20 years to 40 years as on the date of the notification. Those who are applying for Clinical Psychologist have to ensure that they attained the minimum age limit of 18 years and not exceed the upper age limit of 33 years.

Reaching the website, candidates have to click on the ‘Apply Now’ tab and select the ‘Apply for Regular Form’. Hereafter, search for the recruitment name and click on apply online link. Keep the date of birth certificate, qualifying exam passing certificate, registration certificate, experience certificate, caste certificate and validity certificate before applying.
Western Railways will be conducting an online interview for the vacant posts of Paramedical Staff. Shortlisted candidates have to appear for the telephonic/ WhatsApp interview according to the schedule shared with them in the due course of time. The final selection is subject to the eligibility of the candidate. Those who are found eligible against the requirement of vacancy have to appear for the medical test also.
