The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB) is all set to conduct the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination or WBJEE 2022 on April 30, 2022. As per an official notification, this is the revised date as the exam was earlier supposed to be held on April 23. The notification also states that the admit cards for WBJEE 2022 are going to be released from April 25, 2022 (Monday) onwards at wbjeeb.nic.in. It must be noted that the exam will be held over two shifts. The entrance test will be conducted for admission to undergraduate courses in engineering and technology, pharmacy and architecture.
WBJEE 2022 Admit Card – How to download
Candidates are instructed to carry a hard copy of the admit card to the examination centre. They must ensure that the same is not mutilated distorted or even soiled. To know how to download the admit cards, here are the steps that one can follow.
Step 1- Go to the official website of WBJEEB at wbjeeb.nic.in
Step 2- Click on WBJEE under ‘Examinations/e-Counsellings of 2021’.
Step 3- Scroll down and find the link that reads ‘Download Admit Card WBJEE 2022’.
Step 4- A new page will open where one has to enter the application number, password and the displayed security pin.
Step 5- Below the displayed application number, click on the ‘Download Admit Card’ button.
Step 6- The admit card will be displayed and candidates can take a printout of the same.
Exam Pattern
WBJEE is held only once a year for two papers. The exams for both of them will be held over two shifts. While the exam for Paper I (Mathematics) is conducted from 11 AM to 1 PM, the same for Paper II (Physics & Chemistry) is held from 2 PM to 4 PM. Candidates appearing for both papers are eligible for the General Merit Rank (GMR) and Pharmacy Merit Rank (PMR).
The questions will follow an objective-type or MCQ pattern. There will be four options against each question placed within three categories of questions for each subject. To know the detailed marking scheme, take a look at the table below.

There will be negative marking of ¼ marks under Category I and ½ marks under Category II. However, there is no negative marking under Category III. Comprising both papers, the total marks of WBJEE 2022 stand at 200.
