The West Bengal Police Department has released the admit cards for the preliminary examination of Sub-Inspector and Sub-Inspectress police recruitment. Candidates who will be appearing for the examination can now download the admit cards from the official website of WB Police at wbpolice.gov.in. For downloading the admit cards, candidates are required to keep their application serial number and date of birth ready.
Kolkata Police Admit Card – steps to download
After downloading the Kolkata Police admit card, candidates are required to take a printout of the same. They must appear for the examination at the allotted venue as mentioned on the admit cards. To know how to get the download link, here are the steps that can be followed.
Step 1- Visit the official website of WB Police at wbpolice.gov.in
Step 2- Now, click on the flashing link that reads ‘Notice for Preliminary Examination for the post of Sub-Inspector/Sub-Inspectress (Unarmed Branch) and Sergeant in Kolkata Police 2021’
Step 3- Press the ‘Get Details’ link beside the recruitment notice for Sub-Inspector/Sub-Inspectress in Kolkata Police
Step 4- Again, click on ‘Get Details’ beside ‘Download e-Admit Cards’
Step 5- A new page will open where one has to select the link that says ‘Click Here to download admit card for Preliminary Examination for the post of Sub-Inspector/Sub-Inspectress (Unarmed Branch) and Sergeant in Kolkata Police 2021’
Step 6- Enter the 8-digit application number and date of birth and click on the ‘Submit’ button to download the admit cards.

Exam Date
The preliminary examination will be conducted on March 27, 2022 from 12:00 Noon to 1:30 PM. Along with the admit cards, candidates have been instructed to carry a proof of identity to their respective examination centres. Candidates who have applied online will not get any hard copy of the admit cards.
Important Instructions
It must be noted that the WB Police SI admit card contains important instructions that need to be followed on the examination day. Other important instructions include.
1. Examinees should not wear sports shoes, sneakers, high-heeled footwear or else they will be denied entry.
2. They should wear flat footwear such as plain leather or polyurethane footwear or slippers which do not have any metallic embellishments.
3. All sorts of electronic and communication devices such as mobile phones, bluetooth enabled hearing device, portable scanners, digital wristwatch, calculators, etc. are strictly prohibited inside the examination centres.
