The Uttar Pradesh Exam Regulatory Authority will be releasing the official answer keys for the Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test or UPTET 2022 today. Candidates who have appeared for the examination on January 23 can now download the answer keys from the official website – updeled.gov.in, from today onwards. The UPTET answer key 2022 will be released for all four sets under Paper 1 and Paper 2. OMR sheets of the candidates have already been to the exam authority by January 25.
There hasn’t been any official about the time at which the answer keys will be released. However, taking cues from previous year trends, candidates can expect the answer keys latest by afternoon or evening. Besides, these are just speculations so it’s safe to keep an eye on the official website.
How to download?
As and when the UPTET answer key 2022 gets released, candidates can start checking them from updeled.gov.in. However, these are just provisional answer keys and they will be open for objections and representations. To know how to download the answer keys, here are the steps that one can follow.
Step 1- Go to the official website of the UP Exam Regulatory Authority at updeled.gov.in
Step 2- On the left-hand side of the screen, click on ‘UPTET Answer Key 2022’
Step 3- A new page will open where one has to enter necessary login credentials such as application number and date of birth
Step 4- Select and required paper and click on it
Step 5- The answer key will be shown in a PDF format
Step 6- Download and save the same for reference.
Please note that the last date for receiving objections against the provisional answer keys is February 01, 2022. For submitting objections, candidates have to pay Rs 500 for each question. Other than that, the provisional answer keys are helpful in calculating a tentative score in the examination. The marking scheme is such that for every correct answer, 01 mark will be awarded but there will not be any negative marking for the incorrect ones.
What’s next?
A subject expert committee will be formed to review the objections. After reviewing the objections, the final UPTET answer key 2022 will be released on February 23 while the results will be announced on February 25, 2022. Candidates qualifying for UPTET will be issued certificates. The qualifying marks is such that candidates belonging to the unreserved (UR) category must have 60% while those from SC, ST, OBC, Ex-servicemen, physically challenged and others should have 55% marks.
