The Uttar Pradesh Basic Education Board (UPBEB) was supposed to release the revised answer key for UPTET 2021 on February 23, 2022. However, almost a day has passed by and no answer key has been displayed on the Board’s official website – updeled.gov.in. Amid this development, the major concern that has been bothering the candidates is whether the result date will be postponed or not.
UPTET 2021 Result Date
UPBEB is expected to announce the results for the UPTET 2021 tomorrow, i.e. February 25, 2022. However, with the delay in releasing the final and revised answer key, it seems unlikely that the results will be declared on the specified date. Reportedly, Anil Bhushan Chaturvedi, Secretary of the Praiksha Niyamak Pradhikari has said that the results will only be declared after getting due permission from the government.
Due to the assembly elections in the state, a model code of conduct has been implemented. As a result, the Secretary had to seek permission from the government for announcing the results. It is now being reported that the permission is pending with the government.
Will Result Be Delayed?
As understood from several reports and comments by exam experts, the result declaration process has chances of getting delayed. The sole reason behind this could be the ongoing elections in the state due to which the permission has not been received so far from the government’s end. Consequently, the final answer key was not released on the specified date.
Experts observing the UPTET exam are of the opinion that since the final and revised answer key has not been released so far, then there are high chances for the results to get delayed. In other words, the decision of announcing the results is mostly dependent on when the UPTET 2021 answer key is released.
Candidates’ Response
In the light of the recent updates, candidates seem to be dissatisfied. Firstly, they claim that there has already been a huge delay in conducting the exams, and secondly, the result declaration is now at stake. They claim that UPTET 2021 is just an eligibility examination and does not promise any employment. Hence, there was no need for delaying the process.
At this point, it now depends on when the government grants permission. If the final and revised answer key is released today, the results will be announced on the stipulated date. In case there is a delay, then the result date may get postponed.
