The Uttar Pradesh Basic Education Board (UPBEB) has started the registration process for UPTET 2018. The candidates who are interested to apply for the competitive exam can do so by online mode only at upbasiceduboard.gov.in. Interested aspirants should fill in details in the UPTET Application Form and submit it before the last date, which is, October 04, 2018.
Before the candidates proceed to apply for UPTET, it is advised that they should ensure that they fulfill the eligibility criteria as given by the Board.
To apply for UPTET 2018, the aspirants need to visit the official website of UPBEB. On visiting the page, click on the link given in the Step 2 tab which says “Online Registration for UPTET 2018”. Next, the candidates need to enter details such as their Personal information such as Name, Father’s Name, Mother’s Name, Date of Birth, their complete address, mobile number, email id, etc. Also, the candidates need to choose the District from where they want to appear for the exam.
Other than the personal details, the candidates also need to enter their Academic Details. In the UPTET 2018 Application Form, the candidates need to choose the photo identity card (Driving License/ PAN Card/ Passport) and write the Photo identity number. Also, the aspirants need to upload the scanned image of their photograph (Maximum Size: 20KB; Type: JPEG/ JPG).
On submitting the details in the application form, the candidates will receive an OTP on their Mobile Number. To submit the UPTET 2018 Application Form, the aspirants need to pay the registration fee by HDFC payment gateway through Credit Card/ Debit Card/ Net Banking. The last date to pay the application fee is October 05, 2018.
The last step is to submit the application form and take its print out. The window for taking a print out of the UPTET Application Form will be open till October 06, 2018 (06:00 PM).
The exam date for UPTET 2018 has not yet been announced by the Board, however, as per various newspaper reports, the test shall be conducted in the First (01st) week of November 2018. The UPTET 2018 exam will have 2 papers. The first paper will be for the primary level (class 1-5 teachers) and the second paper for the upper primary level (class 6-8 teachers). There shall be 150 questions in the examination. Candidates will get 2 hours and 30 minutes to complete the examination.
