The Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Service Selection Commission (UPSSSC) has released a notification today regarding the General Recruitment. As per the notification, it has been indicated that the UPSSSC will conduct a recruitment test to fill a total of 694 vacancies.
Out the total number of vacancies, 652 number of vacancies are to be filled for regional youth development officer posts and 42 vacancies are for Physical Education Instructor post. The application process for UPSSSC Recruitment 2018 has begun from March 13, 2018. The application form is available online at its official website, upsssc.gov.in. Interested candidates need to first register online before April 17, 2018, after which they can proceed to fill up the application form. The last date to submit the form is April 23, 2018.
The name of the recruitment test is Sammilit Vyayam Parshikshak Evam Kshetriya Yuva Kalayan Evam Pradeshik Vikas Dal Adhikari Exam 2018.
There are 349 posts for General Category, 141 for SC, 15 for ST, 189 for OBC, 13 for Freedom Fighter, 34 for Ex-Army, 01 for PH and 138 for Women candidates. Candidates can apply online at upsssc.gov.in.
Who can apply?
To apply for the recruitment, the interested candidates should have a graduation degree from a known recognised university. While for the post of Physical Education Instructor, the candidates should have D.PEd/ B.PEd in physical education. Also the age of the candidate should be between the age of 21 years to 40 years. However, for the reserved category candidates there is a five years of age relaxation.
Fee
As far as the application fee is concerned, the candidates need to pay the requisite amount as per their category. The General and OBC category candidates need to pay an amount of Rs. 125/-, Rs. 65/- for SC/ST candidates, Rs. 25/- for PWD candidates. The application fee is payable by State Bank E-Collect only.
Pay scale
The pay scale for the regional youth development officer is Rs 29200-112400. The candidates who will be selected for the post of gym instructor then the pay scale rises from Rs 35400-112400.
The candidates who will fulfill the medical standards and Physical Efficiency Test as given by UPSSSC will be shortlisted for the given post. The candidates need to complete the tasks such as 200-metre race, Long Jump, High Jump, Shotput for male, while for females it is, 200m race, Long jump, Cricket Ball Throw, Skipping rope.
