Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the exam notification for the ESE 2021 (preliminary or stage I) examination today i.e., April 07, 2021. Candidates can access the notification on the official website upsc.gov.in. It provides important examination and application details about the Engineering Services Examination (Prelims) 2021. Registration for the exam has also begun today on the website upsconline.nic.in. The last date to apply for ESE 2021 Prelims is April 27, 2021, up to 6:00 pm.
Authorities released the ESE 2021 Prelims online application form today, April 07, 2021, on the official website upsconline.nic.in. Candidates can apply for the exam through the online mode only through the prescribed website and not via any other offline or online sources. A detailed notice named numbered “No.07/2021-ENGG” was uploaded on the UPSC website upsc.gov.in.
Interested candidates who fulfil the eligibility criteria must complete both Part I and Part II of the registration process to apply for ESE 2021 Prelims. The deadline to do so is April 27, 2021, up to 6:00 pm. candidates must bear in mind that registration of Part I and Part II shall be considered valid only during the application timeline.
ESE 2021 Prelims registration process includes two parts, each containing important steps to fulfil. In the Part I registration process candidates have to fill in the basic information. They must check their details multiple times and make the required changes before submitting the application form.
Part II of the process includes important steps like filling in the payment details, uploading relevant documents, selecting the examination centre and finally, agreeing to the exam declaration. Certain candidates are exempted from registration fee payment due to their category and hence, are not needed to fill in the payment details.
ESE 2021 Prelims registration process involves the uploading of multiple important documents. These documents comprise photographs, photo identity card document, signature, etc. candidates must ensure to upload these documents according to the format and dimensions prescribed by the authorities.
Candidates are expected to pay a fee of Rs.200 to register for the examination. However, those belonging to SC, ST and PwD categories as well as female candidates are not expected to pay the registration fee. However, those aspirants with less than 40% disability shall not be deemed eligible for the fee exemption facility.
Registration fee can be paid through the online mode using options like Credit Card, Debit card and Net banking. Candidates can also pay their fee through the offline mode by depositing the money in the nearest SBI (State Bank of India) branch by cash.
After successful submission of the application form, aspirants shall receive an auto-generated email message on their registered email ID. If they don’t receive any such intimation, candidates must check whether they have successfully completed Part II of the application process. All these formalities are to be completed before 6:00 pm, April 27, 2021.
