Union Public Service Commission has released the Final Result of Combined Defence Service 2020 exam. CDS I 2020 candidates who have qualified through the SSB Interviews after the Written Exam are indicated in the final result. Candidates can check the result at the official website upsc.gov.in. A total of 95 candidates have been shortlisted as per recommendation by the SSB. Qualifiers have to send their documents for verification to respective headquarters for admission to the 150th Course of the IMA, INA and AFA.
How to check UPSC CDS 1 Final Result 2020 from UPSC Website?
Interested candidates can check the CDS I 2020 Final Result at the official website upsc.gov.in. At the homepage of the website, candidates have to click on Combined Defence Service Examination (I) 2020. After clicking this link, candidates can see the link for CDS I 2020 Final Result dated February 05, 2021.
Candidates can open the merit list directly by clicking on the link on the UPSC website. No candidate login is required to check the result. The name and roll number of the qualifying candidates are indicated in the result as per serial number.
Important Guidelines for UPSC CDS I 2020 Final Qualifiers
UPSC has clarified that the final merit list is provisional as the medical examination of the qualifying candidates is pending. In addition, the document verification is also under process by the Army headquarters. Qualifiers are therefore required to forward their original documents along with Photostat attested copies to respective headquarters of Army/Navy/Air Force as per their first choice. The final marks are to be released after release of the final result of Officer’s Training Academy for CDS (I) 2020.
Candidates who may change their address must intimate such events to the respective Army/Navy/Air Force headquarter. UPSC CDS I 2020 Vacancy Guidelines
UPSC has shortlisted a total of 95 candidates based on SSB Interviews. 50 candidates are shortlisted for Indian Military Academy, 39 for the Indian Naval Academy and 06 for Air Force Academy. However, as per Government sources, there are 100 vacancies in the IMA, 45 in the INA, and 32 in the AFA.
Based on the results of the written examination, the Commission shortlisted 2614 candidates for IMA, 1429 for INA and 632 for the AFA. The final shortlist of candidates is compiled after the conduct of the SSB Interviews.
