The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) has successfully conducted the Review Officer (RO) and Assistant Review Officer (ARO) examination today. The test took place in 22 cities over two shifts. With the conclusion of the exam, it seems that the aspirants are in search of the answer keys. Although the official answer keys have not been released yet, the unofficial ones are available on YouTube.
As per subject experts, the GS paper had a moderate level of difficulty while many candidates found it to be tough. Questions from current affairs were in expected lines. This time, there were UP-based questions as well. The History section saw the toughest questions. Nonetheless, candidates have termed this year’s RO ARO exam to be the toughest one.
These unofficial answer keys have been released by various coaching centres and subject experts. Candidates can get access to them from YouTube for cross-checking their answers and calculating a tentative score. Some notable channels that can be helpful in this regard are STUDY91, study for civil services, BYJU’s exam prep, Sudrishti PCS, etc. To check the answer keys, simply type ‘UPPSC RO ARO answer key 2021’ on the YouTube search box and go through the videos that appear thereafter.
UPPSC RO ARO comprised two subjects namely General Studies and General Hindi. The GS paper has a total of 140 questions for 140 marks. On the other hand, General Hindi has 60 questions for 60 marks. For every correct answer, 01 mark will be awarded while for every incorrect answer, 0.33 marks will be deducted. Using this marking scheme, aspirants can calculate a tentative score in the examination.
This year, the Commission has announced a total of 228 vacancies for general recruitment and 109 vacancies via RO/ARO special recruitment. The entire selection process will be based on the prelims and mains exam. Candidates who will qualify for the prelims exam are going to be shortlisted for the mains.
