Uttar Pradesh Power Corporation Limited (UPPCL) is looking for the Assistant Engineer Trainee in the Civil department. For this, the conducting body has published a notification with Advt. no. 08/VSA/2020/AE/Civil. Interested candidates can download the advertisement from the official website, uppcl.org. Moreover, UPPCL has advertised 11 vacancies for recruitment. Online registrations will start from January 05, 2021. The last date to apply for UPPCL recruitment is January 27, 2021.
Candidates who are shortlisted under UPPCL Assistant Engineer Trainee (Civil) have to undergo the training sessions. As of now, UPPCL has not yet announced the duration and schedule for the training programme. Moreover, the newly appointed Assistant Engineer gets a monthly salary of Rs. 59500 plus dearness and other allowances.
UPPCL Assistant Engineer (Trainee) Civil Recruitment 2020 Detailed Notification
Before applying, candidates should ensure that they fulfill the eligibility norms as specified by the conducting body. To submit applications for Assistant Engineer (Civil), candidates must have a degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized university. They should possess Section-A and B the Associate Membership of the Institution of Engineers (India) or be an associate member of the institution of Civil Engineers (London).
Moreover, applicants should also have knowledge of Hindi written in Devnagri script. While applying, applicants should have completed the minimum age limit of 21 years as on January 01, 2020. Their age should not exceed the age limit of 40 years.
Applications can be submitted through the official website, uppcl.org. Eligible candidates have to log on to the website and follow the instructions to successfully submit the application form. While applying candidates are also asked to submit the application fee via offline or online method. Unreserved category candidates have to pay Rs. 1000/- as the application fee. SC/ ST of Uttar Pradesh state has to pay Rs. 700/-. However, candidates of states/ union territory other than UP have to pay Rs. 1000/- as the application fee.
The selection process will be based on the performance in the computer-based test and personal interview. CBT will take place in major cities of Uttar Pradesh such as Allahabad, Varanasi, Kanpur Agra and others. In the examination around 75% questions will be asked from the Bachelor of Engineering level, 10% questions of GK/Awareness, 10% marks for Reasoning/ Aptitude and 05% questions from General Hindi. Moreover, each question carries 01 mark and negative marking of 0.25 marks. On qualifying the CBT exam, applicants have to appear for the personal interview round. The final list will be out on the official website based on the CBT and interview marks.
