The National Testing Agency (NTA) will soon be releasing the admit cards for the UGC NET examination for the December 2020 and June 2021 cycles. The Agency has already finalized the dates for the upcoming examination. As per the official notice, UGC NET 2021 will be conducted from November 20 to November 30 and December 01 to December 05. However, there has been no official update regarding the availability of the UGC NET admit card 2021 so far.
Meanwhile, candidates seem to have queries regarding how they can download the admit cards. A common query that has been worrying most candidates is whether the admit cards can be downloaded by using their name and date of birth. Since the link for downloading the admit cards has not been activated yet, it is uncertain whether one can do so or not. However, previously, there was no option for downloading the UGC NET admit card 2021 using name and date of birth. Candidates had to use their application number and date of birth to download the admit cards. Hence, it is very likely that this process is going to remain the same.
Yet, candidates are advised to not jump to any conclusion and wait till the admit cards are officially out. Once the UGC NET admit card 2021 is out, candidates will be able to download the same by following these steps.
Step 1- Visit the official website for UGC NET 2021 – ugcnet.nta.nic.in
Step 2- Scroll down the page and find the link for downloading the UGC NET admit card for December 2020 and June 2021 cycles
Step 3- Click on that link after which a new page will open
Step 4- Enter application number, date of birth, and the displayed security pin
Step 5- Click on the ‘Submit’ button and download the UGC NET admit card 2021.
These steps for downloading the admit cards are based on the previously used method. They may or may not remain the same this time. Since the examination commences from November 20, 2021; it is speculated that the admit cards will be released by the second week of November, 2021. After downloading the admit cards, it is advised to crosscheck the details furnished in them. In case there is any discrepancy in any details, then candidates can reach out to the helpline centres between 9:30 AM to 5:30 PM. Alternatively, if someone is unable to download the UGC NET admit card 2021, then they can email their queries to [email protected].
