National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the application form for University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test (UGC NET) 2021 on the official website I.e., ugcnet.nta.nic.in. The registration process began yesterday I.e, February 2, 2021, and the last date to register for the exam is March 2, 2021. The last date for the successful transaction of examination fee is March 3, 2021. UGC NET 2021 is scheduled on 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 10, 11, 12, 14 and 17 May 2021. This examination is conducted to check the eligibility for the posts of assistant professor and Junior Research Fellowship award across Indian universities and institutes.
UGC NET 2021 registration process began on February 2, 2021, on the official website ugcnet.nta.nic.in. Eligible and interested candidates can apply for this national-level examination till March 2, 2021. Authorities have also provided an extra day for successful transaction of application fee which is March 3, 2021, up to 11:50 pm.
Candidates can apply for the examination on the official website of the conducting body by registering on the portal. For the registration process, they need to use their own email ID and mobile number. They will have to note down the system-generated application number as well. Subsequently, applicants have to fill the online application form and again note down the application number for future use.
Candidates are also expected to upload certain important documents such as a recent photograph and their signature. The photograph can either be black and white or colour with the face being 80% visible against the white background. Lastly, candidates must pay the required application fee using the payment gateway provided. They can also use the payment mode given by the concerned bank or PayTm integrated with the online application. Applicants are advised to take a print-out of the fee paid as proof.
UGC NET 2021 application fee depends on the category to which the candidates belong. General/unreserved category candidates have to pay Rs.1000 as application fee. Gen-EWS/ OBC-NCL candidates have to pay Rs. 500 whereas SC/ST/PWD and third gender candidates must pay Rs.250 as application fee. After paying the application fee, candidates can print a copy of the confirmation page. This page shall only be issued to the applicants only after they pay the fee.
UGC NET 2021 examination is scheduled in May 2021. The application process for the same has already begun and the last date to submit the application form is March 2, 2021. Subsequently, authorities shall provide the correction facility from March 05 to 09, 2021. Admit cards for the examination are expected to release soon after. However, the official date for issuing of admit cards is yet to b announced.
