UGC NET 2018; Important Things To Know Before Registering

Almost every UGC NET aspirant is aware that, National Testing Agency (NTA) has blown the horn of UGC NET December 2108 Registration. The UGC NET 2018 Application Form has been released on September 01, 2018 at ntanet.nic.in. Though application forms are out many candidates are in hurry in filling out whereas many are measuring the things, what is most important for registration?

Hence the first thing at which candidates should look firstly is eligibility criteria. It’s worth to check it with utmost care because the forms submitted by the ineligible candidates will be rejected at last. The candidates who are appearing in their postgraduation or who have completed their Master’s Degree are eligible to apply.

The candidates should note that the University Grant Commission does not restrict candidates on the basis of age for the Assistant Professor. However, the candidates who are applying for JRF should not be more than 30 years.

The second most important thing which candidates should keep ready are the documents. Gather your documents such as Scanned Photograph (with dimension 4.5 x 3.5 and size of 10 KB to 200 KB) and Signature (with dimension 1.5 x 3.5 and size 4KB to 30 KB) and keep them handy. Apart from that candidates should keep his/her Postgraduation Marksheets (Final year’s Marksheet in cases postgraduation is complete). While filling application form candidates will be asked to enter total obtained marks.

Post graduation Details

Like other details, the knowledge of the UGC NET Application Fee is helpful as well. The candidates have to submit the application fee as per their category. SC / ST /PWD / Transgender have to pay the least Rs. 200/- and OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) have to pay just double Rs. 400/-. At last highest fee have to be paid by General category Candidates Rs. 800/-.

The next important thing in the application form is subject for which you are attempting the exam. There were 84 subjects in last UGC NET. While in the current one one Subject is being added, named Women Studies. Now UGC NET December 2018 will be conducted for 85 subjects.

After this candidates have to choose the exmaintion center wisely. Becuse there are higher chances that, your UGC NET Admit card will contain the same city as your filled in application form.

The last and most important thing to notice is to follow all the instructions as they are. And use the appropriate link. The aspirants must know that NTA has formed a new website for the conduction of exam. Hence candidates may be confused about the correct application link.

One additional tip from the Aglasem Team, Do not make it late. Do your Registration before the last date. As it has been seen that, on the last day site doesn’t work properly due to heavy traffic. However, it is not sure but take the precaution.
