The Department of Technical Education, Telangana had earlier released the important dates for the Telangana State Teachers Eligibility Test 2022. Applications ended earlier this month on April 12, while the exam is scheduled to be conducted on June 12, 2022, for which the hall ticket will be released on June 6, 2022. The result will finally be announced on June 27, and the certificate obtained after qualification will be valid for a lifetime unless otherwise notified by the Government of Telangana.
How to check TS TET Hall Ticket 2022?
Step 1: Visit the official website – tstet.cgg.gov.in
Step 2: Click on the ‘Important Links’ box.
Step 3: Locate the ‘Admit Card/Hall Ticket’ link and click on it (will be active on 06/06/22).
Step 4: You will be redirected to a login page, enter your credentials and proceed.
Step 5: Proceed to download and print the admit card.
Syllabus & Question Paper Pattern
Paper 1 (Grade I-V)
Paper 1 consists of 150 objective-based (MCQ) questions, for which 1 mark will be awarded per correct question, no negative marking is present. The paper will be for a duration of 2 hours 30 minutes and 5 sections – Child Development and Pedagogy, Language 1, Language 2 (English), Mathematics, and Environmental Science. Each section will carry 30 questions.
Paper 2 (Grade VI-VIII)
Paper 2 consists of 150 objective-based (MCQ) questions, for which 1 mark will be awarded per correct question, no negative marking will be present, The paper will be for a duration of 2 hours 30 minutes and 4 sections – Child Development and Pedagogy, Language 1, Language 2 (English), For mathematics and science teachers; Mathematics and Science, For social studies teacher; Social Studies, For any other teacher, either mathematics and science or social studies. The first three sections will carry 30 questions while the latter section will carry 60 questions.
The qualifying marks will be 60% and above for general, 50% and above for BC, and 40% and above for SC/ST and differently-abled.
Selection Process
The TET certificate will be given to the candidates who qualify in the written test and will be able to apply to various schools across the state for recruitment however it is important to note, that appearance or a pass in TS TET by itself will not vest any right in a candidate to be considered for appointment to the post of teacher in government / zilla parishad / mandal parishad / and private-aided schools unless he is in possession of the qualifications prescribed for appointment to such post in the relevant statutory recruitment rules framed by State Government from time to time as on the date prescribed therein for possession of such qualifications.
