Teachers’ Recruitment Board, Tripura has announced Tripura TET 2021 exam dates on its website trb.tripura.gov.in. According to an official notification released by the board, Tripura Teacher Eligibility Test (Tripura TET) will be held on September 19 and 26, 2021. The admit card of the eligibility test will be issued online and will remain available to download from September 02 to 09, 2021.
According to the TRTB, the Tripura TET will be conducted for 2 papers viz paper 1 for class 1 to 5 and paper 2 for class 6 to 8. The exam on September 19 will be held for paper 1 in a single sitting from 12:00 noon to 02:30 pm. Similarly, the paper 2 exams will be held on September 26, from 12:00 noon to 02:30 pm. To answer all the questions, a total of 150 minutes will be given to the candidates.
To download the Tripura TET admit card candidates have to log in ‘trb.tripura.gov.in’. Thereafter, candidates have to click on apply online link. On clicking it they will be redirected to a login page. Therein, the candidates have to enter their user id/ registration number and password. Finally, they have to download and print their admit card.
The admit card carries important information i.e. candidate’s information, test centre, exam shift, exam timing, login id, and password. The candidates need to cross-check all the details given on the Tripura TET admit card.
“If any discrepancy of fact as per the acknowledgement page of Tripura TET 2021 is noticed in the admit card the same should be brought under the notice of the recruitment board on or before September 11, 2021, for necessary action,” the official notice reads.

According to the official notice, candidates will not be allowed to enter the test room without a valid admit card. The candidates have to bring one photo id proof in original, a black ball-point pen along with the admit card. Failing which, the candidates will not be allowed to appear on the eligibility test.
In addition, all the candidates have to reach the test venue at 10:30 am and take their respective seats in the examination hall by 11:30 am. No candidate will be allowed to enter the test venue after 11:30 am. The candidates are further instructed to follow the COVID-19 norms strictly.
As per the examination pattern proposed by TRTB, a total of 150 questions will be asked in multiple-choice type format. All the questions will be objective-type in nature, and to be answered on the OMR sheet to be provided at the time of examination. In Paper 1, questions will be asked from Child Development and Pedagogy, Language 1 (English), Language 2 (Bengali/Kokborok), Mathematics, and Environmental Studies. Whereas, in paper-2 MCQs will be asked from Child Development and Pedagogy, English, Bengali/Kokborok, Mathematics and Science, and Social Studies. It should be noted that 1 mark will be awarded for every correct answer and there will be no negative marking.
