TNPSC (Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission) has today December 07, 2021, announced the Group II and IIA examination date. As per the press conference held today, the TNPSC Group II and IIA are scheduled for February 2022. Chairman, TNPSC has held a press meet today wherein he has announced the exam dates for multiple posts released by the commission earlier.
According to the notice released the commission has announced 5831 vacancies earlier in the starting of 2021. However, the complete schedule cannot be announced citing the Covid-19 pandemic. The commission has not yet specified the dates during which the exam will be held. Nevertheless, the same is expected to be announced by the end of this month or most probably in January 2022.
Along with the dates, the revised assessment pattern for Group II and IIA was also released today. The commission has proposed to conduct a main examination – descriptive type followed by paper 1 that will account for 100 marks and an eligibility test. The complete details of the revised exam pattern are expected to be released soon. This is because, the commission has not mentioned the subjects, marking scheme, duration of exam, etc as of now. Another important update that was shared by the commission today was making the Tamil eligibility test mandatory from this year onwards.
Candidates who are eligible can expect the complete details of the revised syllabus PDF, exam scheme, exam dates, etc soon. It is advised to keep a tab on the official website of TNPSC, tnpsc.gov.in. The commission has also notified that the Group IV exams will be conducted in March 2022 and the complete schedule for this exam will be also available soon.
The chairman has also announced that this time the commission is vigilant regarding conducting the examination. They have proposed taking initiatives such as using GPS-enabled vehicles for transporting answer sheets, using cameras for surveillance, etc to curb irregularities in the exam.
