Telangana Open School to Hold SSC, Inter Exams in July; Students Must Pay Fee by 24 May

The SSC General candidates have to pay Rs 1000 as the application fee and Rs 200 for each additional paper opted by them.

The Telangana Open School Society (TOSS) has released the updated date sheet for the SSC/Inter aspirants on telanganaopenschool.org. According to the notification, the last date to apply for the SSC/Inter exam is 10 May 2021. However, the candidates can apply upto May 24 2021 with a late fine of Rs 50 per paper. Candidates have to pay a late fee of Rs 25 per paper if they apply from May 11, 2021, to May 17, 2021. The TOSS will conduct class 10th and class 12th final exams in July 2021. The candidates who are aspiring for the same have to possess the basic eligibility criteria as mentioned in the information prospectus released by the TOSS.

The candidates have to visit TS Online or MEESeva Centre to pay the application fee online. To apply for Intermediate Admission, they have to pay Rs. 200/- as the registration fee. Upon completion of filling the application form, the candidates have to pay the application fee of Rs 1100 for the General category while Rs 800 for the reserved category. For each additional subject, the candidates have to pay Rs 200 for all the categories. To apply for SSC Admission, aspirants have to pay Rs. 100 as registration fee, Rs. 1000/- up to 05 subjects and Rs. 150/- of additional subjects and change of subjects respectively. The candidates have to pay a fee through any of the online payment gateway or via the MEEseva centres. 

The TOSS also released the official prospectus that comprises the eligibility criteria a candidate is required to fulfil. According to the prospectus, the age of the candidates applying for the SSC exam should be 14 years as of 31 August 2020. The candidate should submit proof that he/she is capable of attending the class 10th examination. The student must also submit a valid birth certificate issued by the last school attended or the Municipal/District office of the registrar of births and deaths concerned.

The candidates who are willing to apply for the Inter exam should be should enclose their learners in case they have passed SSC from other states. The age of the candidate should be 15 years as of 31 August 2021. The student must submit proof that they have completed SSC or class 10th exam from a recognised board. The pass criteria for candidates appearing for the SSC/Inter exam is 35% in aggregate in all the subjects.
