More than one lakh applications were received for the SSB Tradesman 2021 examination. While the PET/PST examinations were expected to be held either in October or November 2021; no official notification has been out yet. This now leaves the aspirants in tenterhooks regarding when the admit cards will be released. It has been more than a year that the examination dates for the concerned tests have not been finalized. These tests are important because only qualified candidates will be allowed to appear for the written examination.
As per sources, the physical examination for SSB Tradesman 2021 will start from November, 2021. Importantly, the admit cards for the examination are expected to be released in the last week of October, 2021. Now, it all depends on when the physical tests will take place. Sources say that the admit cards will be generated online at least 15 days prior to the examination date. In case the SSB Tradesman admit card 2021 is released in the last week of October, 2021, then there is a high chance that the physical tests will take in the middle of the November, 2021.
Nevertheless, aspirants are advised not to worry about this but keep an eye on the official website to follow up with the updates. Meanwhile, they can continue with their preparations for the upcoming physical test. After the admit cards are issued, candidates will have to report to the recruitment centre and go through the height bar to check whether they fit the height requirements or not. The qualifying candidates then have to participate in a race, where male candidates have to run 5 km whereas for females it is 1.6 km. Those candidates who qualify this round, have to provide their thumb impression and meet other requisite criteria.
For PST, the testimonials will be verified and the qualified candidates will be screened for height, chest and weight measurements. After clearing PST, the PET round will commence in which male candidates will participate in the 11 feet long jump (3chances) and 3-1/2 feet high jump (3 chances). Similarly, female candidates will have to take part in the 9 feet long jump (3 chances) and 3 feet high jump (3 chances). The PET is only a qualifying test and it won’t carry marks.
