South Eastern Railways, Adra Division invites eligible candidates for the walk-interview of Medical Practitioners. The interview will be conducted online on December 03, 2020. Eligible and interested candidates can appear for the interview for the 07 vacant posts. Aspirants are advised to download the employment notice No. 01/20(Med.) CMP-2020 from ser.indianrailways.gov.in.
Out of the total 07 vacancies, 03 are announced or unreserved category, 01 for SC, 01 for ST and 02 for OBC category. All these vacancies are published on a contractual basis. Candidates will be recruited as Medical practitioners on full time contractual basis. Those who are appointed to get a remuneration of Rs. 95,000/- per month for the first year, Rs. 1,05,000/- for the second year for the post of Specialist Doctors. For the post of General Duty Medical Officer and Retired Govt. Doctors (Railways/Central/State), candidates get Rs. 75,000/-.

Aspirants who wish to know more about the recruitment must visit the official website of SER Railways, ser.indianrailways.gov.in. Thereafter, click on Division > Adra > Department > Personnel > Notification. In the notification PDF, candidates will get the application format for Specialist/ Super Specialist posts.
To submit applications for advertised posts, aspirants have to ensure that they have the required educational qualifications. To apply for Super Specialist, candidates must have MBBS degree with MCH/ DNB in Plastic Surgery or any other field or super speciality. Candidates who have an MBBS degree with post-graduate degree/ diploma in the respective fields of specialist can apply for the Specialist post. Those who have a post-graduate degree/ Diploma in another speciality are eligible for the Specialist post. Aspirants who possess MBBS degree are eligible to apply for General Duty Medical Officer. To apply for Dental post, a BDS degree is required.
While applying, aspirants are advised to check the age limit also. A candidate should not exceed the upper age limit of 53 years as on July 01, 2020. However, age relaxation is also available for the reserved categories. Up to 05 years age relaxation is provided to SC/ ST candidates and 03 years for BC category candidates.
After the interview, candidates have to undergo the medical examination. At the time candidates enter the contractual period, they have to produce the certificates for proof of birth, caste and educational qualification. Moreover, a brief orientation is also organized for a period of 02 weeks. Appointed candidates have to undergo the orientation.
