South Central Railways invites online applications for the post of Senior Resident Doctors and Dental Surgeon. The official notification is published recently advertising 09 vacancies on the official website, scr.indianrailways.gov.in. The online registrations have already started with the release of notification. Eligible and intending candidates are encouraged to apply for these vacancies on or before November 02, 2020.
As per the notification, the post of Senior Resident Doctors and Dental Surgeon is available in the Central Hospital, Lallaguda, Secunderabad on contractual basis. Out of the 09 vacancies, 08 are published for Senior Resident Doctor under Ophthalmology, Obstetrics and Gynecology, General Medicine and Dermatology speciality. The remaining 01 vacancy is for Dental Surgeon which is open for all category.
The selection to these posts is determined by the interview organized for South Central Railways. Eligible candidates will be interviewed online through Whatsapp video call. The date and time for the interview will be notified later on the mobile number or email id as provided in the application form. Those who are appointed as Senior Resident Doctors gets Rs. 67,700/- per month and Part time Dental Surgeon gets Rs. 36,900/- as monthly salary.
To apply for Senior Resident Doctors post, aspirants should possess a post-graduate degree/ DM/ DNB or Diploma in the concerned speciality from a recognized university. Those who intend to apply for Dental Surgeon should have BDS degree with internship and registered with Dental Council of India/ Dental Council of State. Post-graduation qualification in clinical specialities is an additional advantage. Moreover, candidates should have a minimum of 1-year experience in the specified field.
While applying for Senior Resident post (all speciality), candidate’s age should not exceed the upper age limit of 37 years. Those who are applying for Dental Surgeon post have to ensure that they are within the upper age limit of 55 years. However, for SC/ST and OBC candidates the age limit is relaxable up to 05 years and 03 years respectively. For retired IRHS applying for Dental Surgeon, the upper age limit is 65 years.
Applications for South Central Railways is accepted only through online mode. The format in which applications should be sent is available on the website, scr.indiainrailways.gov.in. Aspirants have to submit their filled application with documents in support of eligibility and caste certificate to [email protected]. While submitting the Senior Resident Doctor form, aspirants have to ensure that they mention the speciality in which they are applying for. Along with the form, aspirants have to send degree certificate, conference certificate, registration certificate, experience certificate, proof of present address/ permanent address and others.
