The wait is over. Exam date for ATSE 2020 scholarship test has been announced. Aglasem will conduct the exam on December 27, 2020. The one of its kind talent search cum scholarship test is worth Rs. 15 lakh and is open for class 5 to 12 students, belonging to any school boards. There is no age restriction in the exam and the only eligibility requirement is that candidates should be a citizen of India.
Registration for ATSE is open online, at atse.aglasem.com. The last date to submit the form is October 30, 2020. To register for ATSE 2020 candidates need to fill details in the online form and pay the application fee. It is important that candidates fill all the details authentically and correctly.
The application fee for ATSE 2020 is Rs. 500. Candidates can pay the fee via online modes like Paytm / wallet / net banking / card / UPI.
A new feature to enroll a batch of students for ATSE 2020 is also available. Schools, teachers, coaching, or individuals who wish to register multiple students at once can avail this facility. ATSE partner form is also available at atse.aglasem.com. Conducting body is providing special benefits to the partner schools, teachers, coaching etc.
Candidates who will secure rank 1 in ATSE will get cash prize worth Rs. 50,000, a gold medal, and a certificate of excellence, applicable for each class. Similarly, the second rank holder of each class will be getting 20,000 cash prize, silver medal, and a certificate of excellence, and the 3rd rank holders from each of the class are entitled to 10,000 cash prize, bronze medal, and a certificate of excellence. Ranks holder 4 to 50, in each class, will be awarded 1,000 cash prize and a certificate of distinction. 50+ rank holders will be getting a certificate of participation.
However, to be considered in ATSE 2020 merit list, students must score more than 50% marks in the scholarship test.
ATSE is an online and centerless exam. The exam is monitored via Artificial Intelligence which makes it one of its kind.
The entire test is for 1 hour. For each correct answer marked in the exam, students get +4 marks and -1 for any wrong attempt. There will be 100 MCQs of 400 marks in all.
For classes 5 to 10, questions will be asked from Mathematics and Science subjects. For class 11 and 12 questions will come from Physics and Chemistry. Students need not follow any special syllabus for preparation. The questions will be in line with the NCERT syllabus of the respective class of the student.
AglaSem conducted ATSE for the first time in 2019, as a national level talent search cum scholarship test for classes 4 to 12. Then in the year 2020, it was held for classes 11th and 12th, for engineering, medical, law streams. The test has received positive feedback from both the times, from students, parents, teachers, and schools.
