The final two shifts of the last day of the SBI Clerk Prelims Exam 2021 are over now. SBI conducted the 3rd shift exam from 02.00 PM to 03.00 PM while the 4th (final) shift exam was held from 04.30 PM to 05.30 PM today. Candidates appearing in the exams expressed that the overall level of difficulty of the third and fourth shift exams taken together was between easy and moderate.
Shift 3
Difficulty Level
The overall level of difficulty of the third shift exam was between easy and moderate as per post-exam, memory-based reports. The reasoning section in the third shift SBI Clerk exam held today was of the easy difficulty level. As per reports, while some candidates even attempted 35 out of 35 questions, the section was completed even before time by certain candidates taking the exam today. Quantitative Aptitude and English sections were of the easy to the moderate difficulty level.
Number of Questions
5 questions each were asked from the topics of 3 letter series, Chinese coding, and inequality in the Reasoning section. In addition, questions were also included from the topics of the repeated letter and blood relations in this section of the 3rd shift exam.
Similar to the previous shift 10-12 questions were asked from Simplification in the Quant section of the 3rd shift exam. 05 questions were asked from Quadratic equation while 06 questions were asked from Data Interpretation. 10 word problems were asked and 3 questions were asked from Q1/Q2 type questions.
9 questions were asked from Reading Comprehension in the English language section. 5 Para jumble questions were asked. 5-6 questions were asked from Fillers. Sentence improvement based questions were also asked. Around 3-4 questions of Sentence Improvement were asked.
Good Attempts
Candidates reported that they have confidently attempted 98 out of 100 questions. Candidates could attempt 35 out of 35 questions in the Reasoning part. In the English section, the number of Good attempts is envisaged to be in the range of 25-28 while in the Quant section, the number of good attempts is as high as 28.
Shift 4
Difficulty Level
The overall level of difficulty of the 4th shift exam was between easy and moderate. As per reports, the level was however higher than the 3rd shift exam. The level of difficulty of the English section was moderate. Reasoning and Quantitative aptitude sections were of the easy to the moderate difficulty level.
Number of Questions
10 questions of Simplification was asked from the Quantitative Aptitude section. In addition, the Quant section also included a fair number of questions from topics such as wrong number series, Q1/Q2 and Data Interpretation. 05 questions each were asked from these topics. The remaining 10 questions were from Arithmetic.
In the English language, 08 questions were asked based on Reading Comprehension. This included vocab based questions as well. 05 questions each were asked from the sections of Phase replacement, Cloze Test, Para Jumble, Error Detection and Phrase replacement.
Good Attempts
In Quant, the envisaged number of good attempts is between 25 to 30, as per expert suggestion post-exam analysis. Candidates are anticipated to have attempted 72-76 questions confidently. In Reasoning, candidates could attempt even 35 out of 35 questions confidently.
