State Bank of India has announced more than 5000 state wise vacancies for the post of Junior Associate (Customer Support & Sales). The nationalized bank has issued a latest recruitment advertisement (CRPD/CR/2021-22/09) on the official website i.e. sbi.co.in. The vacancies for the clerical cadre post are available across various states of India in different circles of operation of the State Bank. Online applications are being invited by the bank from April 27 to May 17, 2021 to fill up the available vacancies by conducting online examinations and language tests.
SBI has furnished complete information about the vacancy bifurcation in the official recruitment advertisement. The vacancies include both regular and backlog vacancies which are available in the state of Gujarat, Karnataka, MP, Chhattisgarh, West Bengal, Sikkim, Odisha, Himachal Pradesh,Tamil Nadu, Uttarakhand and others. These vacancies are available as per circles of the bank including Bengal circle, Chandigarh circle, North Eastern circle etc.
One may note that each operation circle of the bank can span areas that cover multiple states. For example, the Bengal cycle spans the states of West Bengal, Andaman & Nicobar and Sikkim. In each of these states, category-wise, 273, 15 and 12 vacancies are available respectively in the regular category. There are no backlog vacancies available in this circle.

In the North Eastern circle, the states of Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland and Tripura are included. The category-wise, regular vacancy count in these states is 149, 15, 18, 14, 20, 10 and 19 vacancies are available respectively. Similar to the Bengal circle, no backlog vacancies exist in the North Eastern circle.
State wise State Bank Junior Associate vacancies are also available under Special Recruitment drive. The Chandigarh circle includes the special areas of Kashmir Valley and Leh & Kargil Valley. 40 and 15 regular vacancies, bifurcated category-wise are available in each of these two special areas under the Chandigarh circle.
Similarly, in the North Eastern special recruitment drive, the circle includes the special areas of Dibang Valley & Tawang etc., Tura and Mockokchung. In each of these special areas, 10 vacancies are available respectively.
Vacancies are also available in other circles of the State Bank of India including Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, Chennai, Delhi, Delhi/Chandigarh, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Kerala, Lucknow/Delhi, Maharashtra/Mumbai Metro and Maharashtra circle. In all, 4915 regular vacancies, bifurcated category-wise are available in different states covered under the aforementioned circles. Adding to these, the regular vacancies available under the special recruitment drive, the total number of regular vacancies available is 5000. In addition, there are more than 200 backlog vacancies available.
