Telangana Social & Tribal Welfare Residential Educational Institutions Society (TSWREIS) recently announced the postponement of TGUGCET 2021. Telangana Gurukul Under Graduate Common Entrance Test (TGUGCET) 2021 was previously scheduled to be conducted on May 30, 2021. However, due to the prevailing COVID-19 conditions in the country, authorities decided to postpone the exam to a later date. The revised exam schedule shall be announced 15 days prior to the new exam date.
Authorities began the TGUGCET 2021 application process on February 05, 2021. Interested candidates could apply for the entrance test and pay the application fee till March 25, 2021. The registration deadline was further extended to April 15, 2021. Invariably, the examination was rescheduled from March 25, 2021, to May 30, 2021. However, due to the prevailing COVID-19 conditions, the exam stands postponed.
TSWREIS shall announce the new date for the entrance test on the official website tswreis.in once the situation stabilises. They shall also release the hall tickets for download on the website itself. Candidates who have successfully registered for the exam can download the TGUGCET 2021 admit cards once issued.
To download the hall ticket or admit card, candidates require their reference number. This number is provided to aspirants after successfully submitting their online application form. Candidates must click on the TGUGCET 2021 admit card download link present on the homepage of the website. Thereafter, they must enter the required credentials and click on the “submit” option. The admit card shall appear on the screen.
Candidates are advised to take a printout of the document well in advance before the examination. Moreover, they must note that TSWREIS shall not be issuing any admit cards separately via post. Hall tickets can be accessed only through the online mode on the official website tswreis.in.
It is imperative for candidates appearing for TGUGCET 2021 exam to know the exam paper pattern and marking scheme. The exam comprises two papers. Paper 1 shall be conducted in the morning session while paper 2 shall be conducted during the afternoon slot. Moreover, paper 2 is meant for female candidates who wish to seek admission to the TSW Armed Forces Preparatory Degree College.
TGUGCET 2021 paper 1 shall be conducted through offline or pen-and-paper mode. It shall comprise of multiple-choice questions (MCQs) for a total of 120 marks and 150 minutes duration. The questions shall be present in both Hindi and English languages. The paper shall be divided into four sections or subjects. Paper 1 shall be available in 5 test formats out of which candidates have to appear for 1 test. The tests shall have different combinations of subjects with General English as the common section.
Paper 2 of the entrance exam shall be of 90 minutes durations. The question paper containing a total of 60 marks shall be divided into three sections – Maths, Reasoning and General Awareness.
