State Bank of India (SBI) is expected to conduct the Apprentice Online Examination 2021 in June 2021 (as May 2021 is about to end). If at all the institution conducts the entrance exam in June 2021, admit cards for the same are likely to be released soon on the official website sbi.co.in. However, no clarity has been provided by SBI about the entrance exam. They last released a public notice on the official portal on March 04, 2021, announcing that the entrance exam has been postponed until April 2021. After this, SBI has not released any tentative or revised schedule for the exam, leaving aspirants highly confused.
According to the notice issued in March 2021, the proposed online examination was to be conducted in or after April 2021. Specific dates for the exam were to be released in due course of time on four official websites of SBI. These include bank.sbi careers, nsdcindia.org/apprenticeship, apprenticeshipindia.org or bfsissc.com. However, much to the dismay of candidates, the second wave of COVID-19 emerged in April 2021, creating havoc in the country. This may be the reason for SBI’s silence on the online entrance exam.
Now that the coronavirus cases in the country are stabilising, SBI is expected to release the revised date-sheet soon on the official website. Assuming that the exam shall be conducted in June 2021, authorities are likely to release the call letters for the registered candidates. Once issued, candidates can download their admit cards from the official website by entering their registration number and password or date of birth.
Aspirants appearing for the SBI Apprentice Entrance Exam 2021 are advised to print a copy of their admit cards for future use. Furthermore, while downloading their admit cards, candidates must also download the “acquaint yourself booklet” for important instructions and exam details. They are to bear in mind that SBI shall not be issuing any hard copies of admit cards via post or any offline source. This document shall be issued only through the online mode on the official website.
At the time of examination, candidates are required to bring their admit cards along with one valid photo-ID proof. This proof can be a passport, PAN Card, Driving License, Voter ID, Bank Passbook with an attested photograph, ID card issued by a college or school authorities, etc. The photocopy of the valid ID proof along with the call letter must be submitted to the invigilators at the exam hall. In case candidates fail to submit the required documents or their identity seems doubtful, they shall not be permitted to appear for the exam. Hence, candidates are advised to keep these documents ready to avoid any mishaps.
