The Chhattisgarh Board of Secondary Education (CGBSE) is going to conduct the class 12th board exams from June 1 to June 5. However, the board has changed the mode of the conducting the examinations. Students no longer have to appear for the exam at the examination centers but can appear for the exams from their homes. The decision has come after the Union Education Minister conducted the high-level meeting with several ministers on holding class 12 board exams.
Enough though CGBSE has decided to conduct the class 12th exams but the mode is no longer the same. Students will need to report at the specified centers to collect their question papers and answer sheets from June 1, 2021. After this, they need to attempt the exams from home and submit the answer sheets within five days’ time. For example, if a student receives their question paper on June 2, then they will need to submit the answer copies on June 7, 2021. Only the students have to physically go to schools and submit their answer sheets.
The board earlier postponed the CGBSE class 12th exams which were scheduled to be held from May 3 to 24. Considering exams were delayed, take-home exams are proposed to students as an option. As per media reports, about 3 lakh students appear for CGBSE board exams.
