Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has decided to announce revised Group D and ALP Application Status 2018. Since the application status for these recruitment has been declared, candidates have sent numerous representations regarding invalid photographs. Now, the Board is considering all the representations and shall upload revised status soon.
As per the issued notifications for RRB Group D Recruitment 2018, the Board is in the stage where it is considering all the representations and will directly announce the revised application status of the recruitment. However, for RRB ALP / Technician Recruitment 2018, representations received against invalid photographs have been checked. Now, the Board is sending revised application status of the photographs to the candidates, via e-mail.
RRB ALP Candidates can Modify Photos until July 20, 2018
The RRB has also decided to provide a one time opportunity to candidates of RRB ALP Recruitment 2018. If the photograph of the candidates was not found valid then the candidates can now modify it and upload the correct photo, in the prescribed format. The candidates can make corrections from RRB ALP Login, state wise. The last date to modify the picture is July 20, 2018. This is a one time opportunity and after this, the candidates will not get any facility to make the changes.
What is the Correct format to upload the photograph?
The correct format to upload a picture is that it should be of passport size (size 35 mm x 45 mm) and must be a coloured one. The candidates need to upload it in JPEG/JPG format and the size of it should be 15 to 40 KB. The photograph has to be scanned with 100 DPI. Other than this, it should be a clear one, with light / withe background and the face of the candidates be clearly visible in it.
Other than this, it is also important to make sure that the name and date of clicking should be printed on the photo that is uploaded for RRB ALP Recruitment. The photo should have been taken on or after July 01, 2017, by a professional photographer. Selfies are not allowed. In the photo candidates must not be wearing a cap, a hat, sunglasses, etc. Also, the photo should not have red eye, glare, shadow, etc.

RRB has instructed candidates to keep a minimum of 12 copies of the same photograph which is uploaded in the application form. These will be needed in the future. Candidates will also have to carry it with the admit card on the exam day. Other than this, the Board will ask for the pictures during further rounds of recruitment. If candidates are not able to produce it, candidature might be harmed.
