Recently, the Ministry of Railways issued a public notice via their official Twitter account @RailMinIndia. This notice was pertaining to a fake notice about RRB NTPC recruitment 2022 being widely circulated on social media. The fake notice specifically mentioned the schedule for the NTPC CBT-2 examination. In its tweet, the ministry warned against believing such fake notices.
The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has not issued any public notice about the second computer-based test (CBT 2). Once announced, the official schedule will be published on rrbcdg.gov.in. For any important announcement, candidates have been advised to check the official website.
RRB is yet to announce the official schedule for the Non-Technical Popular Categories (NTPC) cbt-2 test for all levels. Amid growing anticipation and waiting for the schedule, such fake notices are bound to create chaos among aspirants.
What did the tweet state?
The Railway Ministry stated the following while attaching an image of the fake notice being circulated on social media with a “fake” sign printed on it –
#Fake notices are being circulated with regards to the Railway Recruitment Board’s CBT-2.
Whereas no such notice has been published by the Railways.

What does the notice claim?
As per the fake notice, the RRB NTPC CBT-1 was successfully conducted from December 28, 2020, to July 31, 2021. Due to the number of registered candidates, the test was held in 7 phases across the country. The result for this exam was announced during the March-April 2022 period. However, candidates reported certain discrepancies in the result owing to which, there was a large-scale protest against the exam.
Having acknowledged the concerns of candidates, RRB decided to conduct CBT 2 for the shortlisted aspirants. According to the fake notice, the second CBT will be held on May 19, 20, and June 13, 14, 15 and 16, 2022. This is obviously subject to prevailing conditions in the country.
Ironically, the unverified notice advised candidates to refer to official websites (both main and regional) for important updates pertaining to RRB NTPC 2022 recruitment. It also warned students against any fake promises or misguidances, when in reality, this notice is misleading candidates.
RRB NTPC CBT-2 Exam Date
RRB has already announced the CBT 2 exam dates for NTPC pay levels 4 and 6. Accordingly, the written exam is all set to be conducted on May 09 and 10, 2022. The test will be held for a duration of 90 minutes and the specific timing for each candidate is mentioned in his/her admit card.
