Railway Recruitment Board started releasing the admit cards for Non Technical Popular Categories exam two days ago. The 1st phase Computer Based Test for NTPC 2020 recruitment is being conducted for approximately 23 lakh applicants. RRB releases the admit card for NTPC 4 days before the exam date. The examination is scheduled to be held from December 28 to January 13, 2021. Today, the admit card for the exam on December 30 is released at the regional RRB websites. Candidates can expect the admit cards for subsequent exam dates to release at the respective RRB websites as per schedule.
Registered candidates have to appear at the designated exam centre with the printed copy of the RRB NTPC Admit Card 2020, photo identity, mask, sanitizer and COVID-19 self declaration. The RRB NTPC Admit Card can be downloaded from the websites of concerned regional RRB websites by logging in with the Registration Number and Date of Birth. Candidates can also download the admit card from the websites of respective RRBs.
The admit card for RRB Non Technical Popular Category recruitment 2020 1st stage CBT can be downloaded from the RRB websites. At the website, candidates can see the link “CEN 01/2019 (NTPC) – CBT1 First phase – Link for downloading e-call letter“. One can go to the login page by clicking on this link.
Once the login page appears, candidates have to enter the Registration Number and Date of Birth as registered with the Railways and click on “Login” to open the admit card/e-call letter. Candidates can find personal details such as name, roll number & exam schedule and venue details printed on the admit card. One must verify these carefully and download the admit card.
It is important to know the exam pattern before appearing for the 1st stage CBT.
The Railway Recruitment Board is conducting the first phase exam for approximately 23 lakh among a total of 1.25 crore registered candidates. The CBTs are to be held at centres designated by the RRB on the NTPC Admit Card 2020. The examination is to be held as an objective type test for a duration of 90 minutes. Candidates have to answer 100 questions within this duration.
The paper is to be based on the subjects of General Awareness carrying 40 questions, Mathematics carrying 30 questions and General Intelligence & Reasoning carrying 30 questions. Each question carries 01 marks while there is a negative marking of 1/3 marks per the wrong answer. The normalized score of RRB NTPC 1st stage CBT is to be utilized as a shortlisting criterion for 2nd stage CBT to be held at a later date.
The RRB NTPC 2020 recruitment process was announced earlier in 2019. However, it is only recently that the Railways announced the exam dates. The recruitment is being done to fill up 35208 vacancies available for various UG and Graduate posts. UG posts include Junior Clerk cum Typist, Accounts Clerk cum Typist, Junior Time Keeper etc. while Graduate posts include Traffic Assistant, Goods Guard, Senior Clerk cum Typist etc.
