While RRB ALP examination has been commence by the Railway Recruitment Board (RRB), candidates are still waiting for RRB Group D Exam Dates 2018. In past, numerous exam dates have been circulated in social media platforms but all were fake.
Now, the official sources have confirmed that exam dates for RRB Group D has been decided and the Board will announce it by the 3rd week of August 2018. The Group D exam 2018 will be held in the month of September 2018, right after the loco Pilot exam ends, i.e. after August 31, 2018. Certain news reports are also suggesting that the admit card of RRB Group D 2018 will be available in the 4th week of August 2018
What is the Expected RRB Group D Exam Date 2018?
If the official source is to be considered then the examination will be held in right after the ALP exam, hence, in the 1st or 2nd week of September 2018. However, looking at the current scenario, aspirants should expect the exam to be held in the 3rd or the 4th week of the month. Indian Railway will announce RRB Group D 2018 date in the official website, which is indianrailways.gov.in.
Before Group D Admit Card these will be announced – Exam date, city, and session
RRB will soon disclose the exam date, city, and session to the candidates. It will be done online, on the website of 16 RRBs which are – Ahmadabad, Patna, Ajmer, Mumbai, Secunderabad, Allahabad, Kolkata, Bangalore, Guwahati, Bhopal, Gorakhpur, Chennai, Bhubhaneshwar, Chandigarh, Ranchi, and Bilaspur.
The RRB Group D exam date, session, and city will be announced via login and to access it the candidates will have to enter registration number and date of birth. The candidates should note that the center and date once allocated will not be changed.
RRB Group D Admit Card will only be issued to candidates with successful Application Status
To download the admit card of RRB Group D 2018, the candidates will have to access the official website and enter login details. The admit card will contain details such as venue address, exam date and time, reporting time, instructions, etc.
The candidates will have to carry RRB Group D e-call letter as a print copy. Also, with it the candidates will have to carry one photo id proof and a pass port size photograph. A valid Id can be voter id card, aadhaar card, passport, etc. It is important to make sure that the photograph should be the same as that uploaded in the application form of RRB Group D.
Mock Test will also be Released
The Railway Board will also release a mock test for the aspirants. It will also be released online and through it, the candidates can practice and see how the CBT will be. Candidates should note that the RRB Group D mock test will not help in preparation but will assist candidates in understanding how the CBT will be.
RRB Group D CBT will be a 90 minutes exam with 100 questions
In RRB Group D CBT 2018, the questions will be asked from Mathematics, General Intelligence & Reasoning, General Science, General Awareness on Current Affairs. The candidates will have to solve all the questions in the given time period. All 100 question will be of multiple choice type and will be asked from the following syllabus:
To qualify the examination, the candidates will have to get marks more than the cutoff. The cutoff for RRB Group D is 40% for General category candidates, 30% for candidates belonging to OBC and SC category, and 25% for the ST category candidates. The candidates who will qualify CBT will be called for the Physical Efficiency Test, follows by Document Verification stage.
