DTE Maharashtra to Cancel MBA CET 2019?

Will MBA CET 2019 be Canceled

Students interested in the state level examination are little confused if the Maharashtra Common Entrance Test (MAH-CET) will be conducted in the year 2019. Rumors regarding the cancellation of MBA CET 2019 are circulating throughout the internet. Any doubts regarding the same will be cleared once the official notification release in the month of January next year.

Some people are speculating that due to Lok Sabha elections next year the exam may get canceled. This has been said as there will be less staff to manage the exam and other exam conducting issues. Hence, creating lots of suspense among the MBA/ MMS candidates. The same concern has been shown by B.Tech aspirants. Until now, there isn’t any official confirmation to substantiate these claims. Being a state level examination it is quite unlikely that MBA CET 2019 will be scrapped.

The CET cell of Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Maharashtra conducts MBA CET. So, any change in the conduction of the exam will be informed on the official website only. For now, it is advisable that candidates do not pay heed to such kinds of rumors. Most importantly, you must keep preparing for the exam and rely only on official sources to know the latest updates.

If you are planning to appear to for MBA CET 2019, you must know that the exam is a computer-based test. It takes place in the 150 minutes duration with no sectional limits. It has four sections comprising of Abstract Reasoning, Logical Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude, Verbal Ability & Reading Comprehension with 27, 75, 50, 50 questions respectively.

For MBA CET around 1 Lakh candidates for the exam every year. Last year, 106448 applied for MBA CET 2018. In the exam, candidates are able to score marks as high as 165 out of 200. Such that, students get the opportunity to study in the top b-school of Maharashtra.

For the admission in the state, candidates can apply through MBA CET or can participate in the Centralized Admission Process (CAP) through CAT/ XAT/ CMAT/ XAT/ GMAT/ MAT/ ATMA. The final admission only includes the counseling process as there is no separate selection process by the individual colleges.

Finally, for the better preparation of MBA CET, you must manage your time well. In addition to that, solve practice as much as possible. You can also look for official mock paper released by the exam conducting body. It will help you better analyze the syllabus and exam pattern of the exam.

Currently, the counseling for MBA CET 2018 has been going on for admission in the academic year 2018-20. As soon as the process is over, the final admission will take place in the respective colleges.
