The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has notified on the Candidates Login page that it will publish the Group D exam date, session, and center for those candidates whose exam is scheduled after October 16, 2018, at around 06:00 PM today. The Board has earlier been delaying the publication of the exam information for the remaining 01 crore candidates for a long time now.
Earlier, the Board stated that the RRB Group D exam details for the remaining candidates will be available online on October 05, 2018 at 05:00 PM, which has now been shifted to 06:00 PM. The students have been eagerly waiting to check the exam date, session, and center allotted to them so that they can make the necessary arrangements to appear for the Computer-based test.
Candidates, Please note – The Exam City and Date information is live for candidates scheduled from 17.09.2018 to 16.10.2018. For all remaining candidates the details will be live from 05.10.2018, 18:00 hrs onwards – from the RRB regional website
The candidates will be able to check the exam date, session, and center information for the CBT through online mode only. To know the exam information, the candidates need to visit the official website at the regional website of the RRBs. On visiting the homepage of the RRB regional website, click on the link which says “Click here to Download Exam City and Date advice”. Next, the candidates need to log in by entering details such as User Id and Password. Submit the login credentials by clicking on the Login button and the exam details will be available on the screen.
The exam information will consist of the Registration Number, Candidate’s name, Father’s name, Test city, Test state, Date of the exam, Shift, duration of the exam, etc.
Once the candidate knows the exam date allotted to them, they can check the date for issuance of the Admit Card. The Board is conducting the First stage, i.e. the Computer-based test in a long testing window. Since the test is being conducted from September till December 2018, the Board published a notification regarding the date of issuance of the Group D 2018 Admit Card for each exam date.
Hence the candidates after checking heir exam date should then check the date for downloading the RRB Group D Admit Card as per the exam date given to them. Also, the candidates should note that the exam date, shift, and center allotted to them cannot be changed.
The Board is conducting the RRB Group D recruitment 2018 to fill about 62907 vacancies. The stage 1 CBT of Group D is being scheduled to be held from September 17 till December 14, 2018. The CBT will be of 90 minutes duration, and the candidates will have to solve 100 multiple choice questions on maths, general knowledge, general science, and reasoning.
