The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has announced the result for ALP & Technician Stage 1 CBT. The result has been announced on November 02, 2018 at the various RRBs regional official website. The RRB ALP Technician Result 2018 is available in pdf format. In the result notification, the Board has also mentioned that the Second stage CBT will be conducted from December 12 and will continue till December 14, 2018.
In an earlier notification published by the Board, it was mentioned that it is likely to conduct Second stage CBT on November 19, 2018. Many students were tensed that it is very difficult for them to prepare the next stage in such a short time. However, now the Board has confirmed that it will conduct the Second stage CBT on December 12 instead of November 19, which is a great relief for many students.
The candidates have been qualified for the next stage on the basis of their merit in the Stage 1 CBT and post preference.
Those who have qualified for the Second stage CBT will be able to check the exam city allotted to them at least 10 days before the test. They will also be informed about the same through SMS/ Email.
Furthermore, the Board will issue a separate call letter to the qualifiers of the Second stage CBT. The admit card will be available for download by online mode only at least 04 days prior to the test. No, admit card will be sent by post. It will consist of details of the candidate and basic information about the exam such as Reporting time, exam center address, date and time of the test, etc.
To download it, the candidates need to visit the official website of the RRB. Then click on the link for downloading CEN 01/2018 E-Call for RRB ALP Technician Second Stage CBT. Next, the candidates need to log in by entering details such as Registration Number and Date of Birth. Then click on the “Login” button to submit the details. Furthermore, the syllabus of the Second stage CBT has been published online. Hence, the candidates can visit any one of the RRB website and then click on the link for Exam Trade syllabus for Second Stage CBT. Click on the relevant exam trade to download the syllabus.
The RRB conducted the First stage CBT from August 09 till September 04, 2018. The Board has increased the number of vacancies to 64,371, out of which, there are 27,795 vacancies in Assistant Loco Pilot and 36,576 vacancies in Other technicians post. After the second stage CBT is over, the candidates will be shortlisted for Physical Efficiency Test (PET). Those who will be selected in RRB Group C ALP, Technician tests will get a remuneration of Rs 19,900 (Level 2 of 7th CPC pay matrix) plus other allowances as admissible.
