The esteemed Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has announced the RRB ALP Exam Date, Session, City, and Mock Test. The candidates can check these details online at the official website of the RRB, indianrailways.gov.in. The Board has provided the different logins for RRB ALP Exam Date, Session, City, and Mock Test.
The candidates can check the RRB ALP Exam Date, Session, City at the RRB’s official website. On the home page, click on the link for the respective name of the RRB for which you have applied for. Next, click on the “Login Link for checking the exam city, date intimidation and SC/ST Travel Pass“. Now, the candidates need to enter details such as Registration Number (User ID), Password (Dates). Finally, click on the Login button to submit the details and the exam date and city for ALP & Technician CBT examination.
Furthermore, the candidates can also take the online mock tests as well. To take the mock test, visit the official website of RRB at indianrailways.gov.in. Click on the link for the respective name of the RRB for which you have applied for. Then click on the link which says “Mock Link for candidates to practice CBT“. Next, you need to login by clicking on Sign In button. After which a new window will open and you can start taking the online mock test.
As per the official notice by the board, the first stage CBT of RRB ALP will be held on August 09, 2018. The Board is providing a facility of free travel authority to the SC/ST candidates. The candidates need to download the Travel authority and then carry the hard copy of the same at the time of traveling. It is a second-class or Sleeper class railway pass that is only valid for the candidate traveling through Indian Railways.
At the time of traveling, students need to show the railway pass to the ticket collector along with that, they need to show the copy their caste certificate. Otherwise, they will have to bear the penalty charges or fine.
It is expected that the candidates shall get their RRB ALP Admit Card 04 to 05 days prior to the dates of the exam. However, as per the reports, it is stated that probably the admit card for RRB ALP will be available on August 5, 2018. No printed admit card will be sent to the candidates individually, hence you have to download it online by entering the necessary login details.
RRB has announced the CBT dates, so all the aspirants must gear up their preparation in order to qualify the exam. The exam will consist of 75 objective type questions. In total, 60 minutes will be given to solve the question paper. However, in the case of PWD candidates, the duration will be 80 minutes accompanied by their scribe. Negative marking is applicable, i.e. 1/3rd or 0.33 marks will get deducted for every incorrect answer. Due to this, candidates must prepare well for the CBT round.
Now that the mock test is available, the candidate can get an idea of the pattern of question paper. Also, the candidates will get to know the time they are taking in order to solve the question paper. The exam will take place in an online mode so through the mock test the candidates will get the knowledge of navigation as well.
This recruitment is for the candidates who are at least 12th passed or graduated from a recognized institution or equivalent. In total there were 26,502 vacancies available for the posts of ALP and Technician. Out of these, 17,673 was available for Loco Pilot and rest 8,829 for Technician. The basic pay for these posts is Rs.19,900/- plus other allowances.
It is considered that RRB ALP Recruitment is one of the prominent recruitments under Indian Railways. The recruitment is based on the three stages. The first stage is a computer-based test (CBT), second stage CBT, third stage Aptitude test (CBAT), and the final one is document verification. After qualifying all these stages, the RRB ALP 2018 Result will announce. The result will contain a list of candidates selected for the final recruitment.
