Taking students by surprise, the Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) recently announced the dates for the RPSC Sub-Inspector (SI) 2021 recruitment exam. As per the official notice, the exam is going to be conducted from September 13 to September 15, 2021. With just about a week left for the exam, authorities are yet to release the RPSC SI 2021 admit cards for the registered candidates.
Many reports claimed that the admit cards will be released soon, probably today, i.e. September 06, 2021. However, till now, authorities have not released the admit cards for the registered candidates. This delay has left the candidates perplexed as to whether the recruitment exam will be conducted on the proposed dates or not.
Previously, the RPSC SI 2021 exam was scheduled to be conducted on September 04, 2021. However, the exam will now be conducted on September 13, 14 and 15, 2021. As per the official notice, the recruitment exam will be conducted in two shifts – the first shift from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm, while the second shift will be conducted from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm. While this is the plan, admit cards are yet to be released on the official website – rpsc.rajasthan.gov.in.
To showcase and express the confusion about the RPSC SI 2021 recruitment exam, candidates are continuously bombarding Twitter with tweets and comments under the hashtag #PostPone_Raj_Si_Exam. Most candidates are ardently requesting the RPSC authorities to postpone the exam due to a lack of preparation time. Others are expressing their worry about the lack of consistency in conducting this recruitment exam. For two years straight, RPSC did not conduct the SI selection test. And now, it has been observed on social media that students feel that the authorities are rushing into the exam.

A few RPSC SI 2021 candidates are asking pertinent questions on Twitter – will the recruitment exam be conducted on the proposed dates? If yes, why have the admit cards not been released? Does the delay mean a postponement in the exam schedule? For this issue to garner more attention and importance, candidates are also tagging the Chief Minister of Rajasthan Ashok Gehlot’s official twitter handle.

Another valid concern of candidates is that the exact schedule or guarantee of the next RPSC SI recruitment drive is not known. Hence, if candidates do not pass this attempt, they will have to wait for unknown number of years to appear for the exam again. In light of such confusion and concern among students, authorities are expected to release a notification in this regard. If not, admit cards will likely be released soon, preferably by the end of this week on the official portal.
