Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has published a notification that says that admit card of Group D (level 1 of 7th CPC pay matrix), which is now available for download, does not have self declaration. Self declaration paragraph will be displayed on computer screen during exam. Test takers have to write it down in their own handwriting at time of exam.

At start of test, a paragraph of self declaration shall display on computer screen. Self declaration has to be written, same as displayed on screen, in printout of officially issued RRB Group D admit card which candidate takes to exam centre on day of exam. It should not be written in all capital letters.

Space to write self declaration is that blank space which is under heading “copy the declaration displayed on your screen in your running handwriting, not in block letters, only in the presence of invigilator on examination day”.

It is important to read paragraph of self declaration diligently and write it down exactly in own handwriting. Pen will be provided at centre.

Just below it, there are other blank columns, for candidate’s left thumb impression 1, left thumb impression 2, signature, and invigilator’s signature. In first and second space, one has to affix left thumb impression in front of invigilator. Candidates will get an ink pad to press their thumb on it and make their thumb impression on admit card, this they have to do in front of invigilator only.

Candidates are further advised to not have mehendi or henna on left thumb to avoid issues during registration.

Third space has to be used by test taker to sign, before invigilator only in exam hall. Last blank space will be used by invigilator to sign. Invigilator will sign here only when he or she sees candidate doing self declaration in their presence and has verified identity of test taker from Group D admit card.

Board will issue admit card / call letters for exam scheduled to be held on September 18, 2018, on September 14, 2018.
