Earlier RRB released that the candidates whose exam is scheduled after October 16, 2018, will be able to check their exam date, session, and center from September 13, 2018. However, now the Board has stated that the candidates will be able to check their exam date, session, etc from September 15, 2018. The RRB will be conducting the Group D Computer-based test from September 17 till December 14, 2018. The complete details about the exam center allotted will be available on the Group D Admit Card.
To check the exam date, session, and center, the candidates need to visit the official website of their respective RRB for which they applied for. Then click on the link “To Download City and Date intimation”. Next, with the help of the Candidate Login, enter details such as User ID and Date Of Birth. Submit the login credentials by clicking on “Login” button. After which the candidates will get complete exam information on their computer screen.
The exam information will consist of details such as Registration number, Name of the candidate, Father name, Test city, Test state, Date of Exam, Shift, Duration of the exam, Reporting time, Gate closure time, Exam start time.
At the time of checking the exam date and session, the candidates who belong to SC/ST category will have to download their travel pass authority. It is important that these candidates should carry the free travel pass and SC/ST category certificate in original at the time of traveling.
The Board has also issued the complete schedule for downloading the RRB Group D Admit Card. The candidates can check the date for download the admit card for their respective exam date.
The candidates will be able to download the admit card through online mode only. No printed admit card will be sent to the candidate through post/ courier. It will consist of details such as your name, roll number, registration number, exam date, timings, venue of the examination, etc. The applicants must carry the print out of the Group D Admit Card on the day of the examination.
The first stage of the selection process for Group D Recruitment 2018 is a computer-based test which is being conducted for 49 days. The CBT will consist of total 100 MCQ type questions which one need to complete in a duration of 90 minutes. There are 04 sections in the test. The Mathematics section will consist of 25 number of questions, General Intelligence and Reasoning will have 30 questions, General Science will have 25 questions and lastly, there will be 20 number of questions in General Awareness and Current Affairs.
As far as the marking scheme is concerned, there is a negative marking. Hence, for an incorrect answer one-third marks will be deducted.
