Punjab police have released the official notification for the recruitment drive for the post of Sub-inspector in armed police, district police, and investigation cadre and also for the post of investigation officer as sub-inspector. The aspiring candidates can get the link to apply for the recruitment portal from the official website of Punjab police punjabpolice.gov.in. The application process began on July 06, 2021 and will end on July 27, 2021. Finally shortlisted candidates are going to receive a salary of Rs 35,400
In order to fill this application form the candidates belonging to General category need to pay an application fee of Rs 1500, candidates from SC, ST, and EWS categories have to pay the amount of 900. The application fee for ex-servicemen is Rs 700.
Punjab Police Recruitment 2021 Detailed Notification
To apply for recruitment one has to visit the official website and go to the recruitment section and click on the online application link. After this candidates need to complete their profile by clicking on the registration link. After this they need to choose their cadres, fill the application form and upload the required documents, pay the fees and click on submit button.
Candidates need to make sure that the cadre they want to get posted in should be kept in the highest order of preference. The candidates will be allotted the cadres as per the marks they secure in the written test.
Through this recruitment drive, Punjab police aim to recruit 560 candidates for the post of sub-inspector. There are 289 vacancies for the post of sub-inspector in the investigation cadre, 87 vacancies in the intelligence cadre, 97 vacancies in the armed police cadre, and 87 vacancies in district police cadres.
To be eligible to apply for the Sub-Inspector post candidates have to be a citizen of India. The minimum age of the applicant should be 18 years as of January 1, 2021, and the maximum age of 28 years of January 1, 2021. Age relaxation of five years shall be given to the candidates who belong to SC/ST and other backward classes.
The recruitment for filling up vacancies against this post will be carried out through different processes like Common Application Form (CAF), Computer Based Test ( CBT). The candidates who qualify for CBT will have to go through other processes like the Physical Measurement Test (PMT) and Physical Screen Test (PST).
Similarly, the education qualification of the candidates should be a candidate should have a graduation degree from any recognized college or university. Moreover, for the post of intelligence officers, the candidates should possess a graduation degree along with “O” level certification in Information and Technology from the National Institute of Electronics And Information Technology or B. Tech in IT, Computer science, etc.
