Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta has activated the link for PGDBA 2021 Registration. The application process for the Postgraduate Diploma in Business Analytics (PGDBA) is taking place online at iimcal.ac.in. Candidates with graduate/ post-graduate degree can submit the online registrations for PGDBA 2021. The last date for the online registration and submission of the application form for IIM Calcutta PGDBA Course 2021 is April 20, 2021.
To register for PGDBA Program, candidates first go through the minimum eligibility criteria. Those who have a graduate/ post-graduate degree with a 10+2+4/10+2+5/10+2+3+2 pattern are eligible to apply for PGDBA 2021. They must have secured a minimum of 60% marks or 6.5 CGPA on the scale of 10 in the qualifying degree (i.e B. Tech./ B.E./ M.Sc./ M.Com. or equivalent). However, for SC/ ST/ PWD category students, the qualifying marks for eligibility is 55% or CGPA 6.0 on a 10-point scale.
Eligible candidates can then proceed to submit the PGDBA registration form. They will get the direct link to register for IIM Calcutta PGDBA Program online at iimcal.ac.in. Candidates have to click on the ‘Program’ > ‘PGDBA’ button to get the online registration link. On successful registration, a user ID is sent to students using which they have to log in and submit PGDBA application form. While applying, candidates are also liable to make the payment of the application fee. SC/ ST/PWD category candidates have to pay Rs. 1250/- as the registration fee. Whereas other candidates have to make the payment of Rs. 2500/- for PGDBA registration.
Moreover, successfully registered students can appear for the PGDBA 2021 Admission Test. As per the official website, the admission test is scheduled to take place on May 09, 2021 (Sunday). It is an online examination that takes place for a duration of 03 hours. The test will have 50 questions each carrying 03 marks. Each question will be a multiple-choice question. Also, there is a negative marking of 01 marks. There will be 15 questions on Verbal ability, 05 questions on Data Interpretation & Data Visualization, 05 questions on Logical Reasoning and 25 questions from Quantitative Aptitude.
The candidate’s final selection for the PGDBA Program is based on entrance exam score, personal interview, points for Class XII marks and Work experience. The entrance exam carries a 45% weightage of the complete selection procedure. Followed by the Personal Interview of 40% weightage, Points for Class XII marks of 08% and Work experience of 07% weightage. Students who successfully clear all rounds are shortlisted for the post-graduate diploma course.
