The Odisha Secondary School Teachers Eligibility Test (OSSTET) Phase 2 exam was conducted by the Board of Secondary Education, Odisha (BSEO) today. Many coaching institutes, including SR Study Point, have released the unofficial answer keys on Youtube. These answer keys will give the candidates a rough idea about their scores. The exam is conducted to test the eligibility of the candidates for the posts of teacher in the state of Odisha. The exam was conducted in offline mode. The exam is conducted for 2 categories of teachers- Education teacher and Physical Education teacher.

The OSSTET Phase 1 exam was held on September 1 and the results were declared on October 16, 2021. So, the Phase 2 results are expected to be announced by the last week of March 2022. Candidates have to secure 60% marks to qualify the OSSTET exam. For SC/ ST/ PwD candidates the cut-off marks is 50%. Candidates who qualify the exam will be provided with an OSSTET pass certificate, which is valid till the candidates reach the upper age limit as prescribed by the State government.
The OSSTET exam is conducted for a duration of 2.5 hours per paper. The exam is held in 2 papers, with a total of 4 sections, Odia language being a mandatory section in Language 1 and English being a mandatory section in Language 2. Correct answers are awarded 1 mark each, while there is no negative marking. All the questions are of MCQ type. There is a total of 150 MCQs in the exam.
