Odisha Sub-Ordinate Staff Selection Commission (OSSSC) is recruiting eligible candidates for the vacant posts of Nursing Officer. The conducting body has also released the official advertisement in this regard online at osssc.gov.in. Online registrations for OSSSC started today, December 07, 2020. All the eligible candidates can register themselves for the 6432 district cadre Nursing Officer posts. The last date to submit online applications is December 31, 2020.
The post of Nursing Officer is announced on a contractual basis. OSSSC will be posting shortlisted candidates in various district establishments and 08 medical colleges and Hospitals that function under the Health and Family Welfare Department of Government of Odisha. The newly appointed Nursing Officer gets monthly remuneration in the pay scale of Rs. 29,200/- to Rs. 92,300/-.
OSSSC Nursing Officer Recruitment 2020 Notification
In order to apply for this recruitment, candidates should have passed 12th class in the 10+2 system or equivalent. With that, they must have completed a Diploma in GNM/ B.Sc Nursing from any recognized Medical College and Hospital of the State. Candidates must have registered their names in the Nursing Council in the state and have a valid registration certificate as on the date of the notice. They should have attained the age of 21 years and not exceed the age limit of 32 years.
Apart from the educational qualification, aspirants should also be able to speak, read and write Odia language. They should have passed middle school with Odia as a language subject. Those who have passed 10th class with Odia as the medium of exam in non-language subjects can also apply. Candidates who have passed a test in Odia in ME School standard or passed Odia as a language subject in the final exam of 8th class are eligible.
Eligible candidates can apply for the OSSSC Nursing Officer Recruitment through osssc.gov.in. They first have to register themselves for the post. The last date for the registration is December 24, 2020. All applicants have to upload photograph and signature for successful registration. They also have to upload the certificate of registration in Nursing Council of State of Odisha, caste certificate, 12th class, language certificate experience certificate, sportsperson certificate and others as asked.
Applicants other than ST/ ST/ Person with disability are required to pay the application fee. They have to make a payment of Rs. 100/- before December 24, 2020. The fee can be paid online by logging into osssc.gov.in under the Head of Account “0051-P.S.C.-104-UPSC/SSC- Examination Fee-0047-Fees Collected for Conducting Examination by OSSSC-02213”.
Those who successfully submit applications have to appear for the written examination. As per the advertisement, OSSSC Nursing Officer written exam will take place in the month of January 2021. The syllabus is available in the official notification.
