National Testing Agency (NTA) confirms that it will issue UGC NET Answer Key by December 31, 2018. Further, the agency in its first year ensures that UGC NET Result Dec 2018 shall be announced by January 10, 2019. All post exam activities are on track. NTA Director Vineet Joshi is reported to be particularly satisfied with the way NTA NET was successfully conducted without any glitches.
9.5 Lakh candidates who had registered for the exam can check answer key first and then result, both at the official website ntanet.nic.in. It is anticipated that either a master question paper with answers will be released, or candidates will be able to login and check their question paper with answers.
Besides UGC NET answer key, recorded responses aka response sheet shall be released. Errors in response sheet and answer key can be submitted at ntanet.nic.in against a processing fee of Rs 1000 per question. NET exam answer keys and recorded responses shall remain visible on website for 3-5 days only.
There were two shifts of exams on each day. Answer keys of each day, each shift will release together by the promised date at ntanet.nic.in. Then on basis of grievances that NTA will receive, it will create a final answer key and evaluate papers using that. As per marks obtained in paper, candidates will be declared as qualified or otherwise. NTA conducted the National Eligibility Test in online mode over a period of five days, from December 18 to 22, 2018.
On day 1 of the exam, MHRD Minister Prakash Javadekar tweeted that the exam was held at 366 centres involving 91279 candidates in shift 1, and 372 centres with 92524 candidates in shift 2. Respective shifts had 65.3% and 72.8% attendance. The minister also tweeted a few day later that NTA is pioneering exam conducting norms by using 8000 CCTV cameras to monitor exams.

However there were some complains of the candidates. Such as, a few were unhappy that questions were not coming in one screen and they had to scroll up, down, left, right a number of times to go through the questions.

There were multiple levels of checking while entering the exam hall. Each centre was monitored in real time at the NTA headquarters. Centre, state, and headquarters comprised of the 3 layers of monitoring. Candidates appearing in JEE Main 2019, NEET 2019, CMAT 2019, GPAT 2019 should also keep this in mind.
UGC NET, now the NTA NET or NTA UGC NET, is the national level exam to determine eligibility for college and university level lectureship and also for award of Junior Research Fellowship. The selection process is as per result declaration norms of UGC, explained below.

National Testing Agency is the premier testing organization in India set up last year to take responsibility for conduct of entrance exams of higher education. The next exam being held by NTA is Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2019 which is scheduled to be held from January 8 to 12, 2019. Recently, NTA also issued JEE Main 2019 Admit Card.
