Today is September 29, 2018, and UGC NET December registration is going to be ended on September 30, 2018. Hence the UGC NET aspirants who have to not registered yet, have only two days left to complete the application process.
The candidates have to register themselves on ntanet.nic.in. National Testing Agency has released the Application Form on September 01, 2018 at 02:00 AM. The candidates have been given 30 days to complete the application process. As application submission ends on September 30, 2018. But for submitting the application fee candidates have been provided the relaxation of 01 days. Hence they can submit the online fee until October 01, 2018.
Two Servers on NTA’s Website
While considering the problem of candidates in the last days of application submission process, National Testing Agency introduces two servers on its official website. The servers are named with “Fill Application Form – Server -1 & 2”. Both servers are the same and lead to the application form of UGC NET.
The purpose of NTA is crystal clear, Agency doesn’t want any congestion on its website on the last dates. Hence it introduced this facility to the candidates. This could be the sign that, NTA will not extend the application form submission period further. Thus the candidates have to complete their form in the remaining days who have not registered yet.
Correction in Application Form
Candidates have been provided the window for correcting the mistakes in the application form. The application correction window of UGC NET will be open on October 08 and will close on October 14, 2018. During this candidates will be allowed to alter some specific fields in the application field. Because of some details are non-editable in the application form.

The candidates should have noticed the changes, made by NTA in UGC NET. The Agency decreased the application fee for the NET.
Initially, NTA said that three things will not be changed in the entire process and those things are an Application fee, Syllabus and Exam Pattern.
But later when the application form released the fee also changed. An unreserved category candidate has to pay Rs. 800/- while OBC category candidates have to pay Rs. 400/-. And the candidates belonging to the SC/ST category need to submit the Rs. 200/-.
Apart from the application fee, NTA introduced a new Paper in December session. The candidates can opt for the Woman Studies as well. As of now the UGC NET was conducted for 84 languages. But form now onwards the exam will be conducted for 85 languages.
After completion of the application process, The Agency will issue the admit card for the examination to all the candidates who have filled the application form in time. All such candidates able to download the admit card form November 19, 2018.
The exam is scheduled to hold from December 09 to 23, 2018. However, the proper shifts of exams are not known now. NTA will announce them separately on October 24, 2018.
