CAT 2018 Photograph Correction window function will over tomorrow on September 30, 2018, at exactly 5:00 PM. Candidates who have successfully submitted the form must recheck it and look if the uploaded image is correct. The CAT 2018 edit function is applicable only to change the photograph in the form. Apart from this, a student will not able to make changes in any other document.

This time applicants must upload the photograph correctly. The image should be clear with appropriate background and dimensions. The white background is preferable and the eyes, nose, and hair of candidates should be visible clearly in the colored passport size image.
First, access iimcat.ac.in to edit the image is available. Then, use the CAT 2018 Login to access the application form. Therein, click on “Application Form” tab and the new window will open to re-upload the photograph. Also, refer to the detailed image instructions in the link available there. After checking all the specification, hit on “Click Here to Upload” option and submit the image in the last step.
Previously, candidates were worried that they have uploaded the incorrect mages in the form. Thus, to solve the conundrum of candidates the IIM Calcutta has opened the correction window to change the photograph only. This is the first time that the exam conducting body has given the option to edit the image.
Many students who have uploaded wrong images found a sigh of relief with image correction announcement. Though there are still many candidates who have entered the wrong information in the form and waiting if the application correction window to edit the other details in the form will open or not. As for now, there is no confirmation regarding the same.
The common mistakes that applicants have made are the wrong entry of marks, incorrect category, programme preference etc. Since nothing can be vouched right now, candidates must reach to the CAT helpline for the possible solution.
CAT exam will be held on November 25, 2018, and it is expected more than 2 Lakh candidates will take the exam. The CAT score is accepted 20 Indian Institute of Management (IIM) and more than 100 b-schools. The SP Jain, MDI, FMS are one of the famous colleges that take admission via CAT.
Since the registration of CAT is over, there are many other entrance exams like NMAT, SNAP etc for which registration has been open. Students can apply for them until the last date of registration.
