The National Mineral Development Corporation (NMDC) has released the admit card for the examination to the post of Maintenance Assistant today, on December 11, 2021. The exam will be conducted on December 28, 2021.
The candidates who have registered for the exam are advised to visit the official website of NMDC, nmdc.co.in, to download the admit card using the login credentials provided at the time of registration. The total number of vacancies for this post is 304.
The admit card can be downloaded by following the steps given below:
Step 1: Visit the official website of NMDC at nmdc.co.in
Step 2: On the page, click on the Career tab.
Step 3: Click on the link NMDC Maintenance Assistant Admit Card 2021.
Step 4: Use the login credentials to sign in to the portal.
Step 5: Download the Admit Card and take a printout.
The candidates must go through a two-step selection process which includes a written test and a trade test. The written test consists of Objective type questions of 130 marks which are to be completed in a duration of 120 minutes. There will be no negative marking for the written test of the NMDC Maintenance Assistant Exam 2021. The exam will be conducted in both Hindi and English languages. The written test contains questions of General Knowledge, Numerical and Reasoning Ability, and Subject Knowledge. The detailed syllabus is provided on the official website, which the candidates are requested to check. Candidates who clear the written test will be called for a trade test conducted for 100 marks. This test is of a qualifying nature where the marks obtained will not be counted for the final selection.
On the day of the exam the candidates must carry along with them the NMDC Maintenance Assistant Admit Card and one other valid ID proof such as Aadhar Card, PAN Card, Voter ID Card, Passport, Driving Licence, etc. They must also carry two passport size photographs and a caste or PwD certificate, if applicable.
