The Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE) has released the class 8th results. Students who have appeared for the exam can now check their results from the official website – jkbose.nic.in. The exam was held in the month of November, 2021. However, now, the Board has started releasing the results district-wise.
To access the JKBOSE 8th results, students and guardians have to visit the websites of the District Institute of Education and Trainings or DIETs. The steps to check the JKBOSE 8th result 2021 are as follows.
Step 1- Go to the website of the DIET which falls under the district of the student (for example, DIET Kulgam – dietkulgam.in)
Step 2- Under the ‘Examination’ option, click on ‘Result’
Step 3- Select ‘8th [(Annual); 8TH-2021-ANNUAL]’ against the examination notice section
Step 4- Out of the two options available, select either roll number or registration number
Step 5- Now, enter the registration or roll number and click on the ‘Get Result’ button.
These steps are more or less similar for all the DIETs. Using them, one can check the name-wise result of class 8 from the respective websites. To access the district-wise results, check out the table given below. The table also contains the official website of the district-wise DIETs.

The complete result list contains the name, father’s name and mother’s name of the student. It also has the date of birth and total marks scored by the student out of 200. The examination was held for a total of five subjects namely English, S.St, Math, Hindi or Urdu and Science. The marks allotted for each subject is 200. The JKBOSE class 8 exams were conducted in offline mode. There was a reduction of 30% in the syllabus.
So far, the results of the districts that are mentioned above have been declared. Results for the remaining districts are likely to be available in due time. The JKBOSE 8th middle-class examinations are conducted by the District Institute of Education and Training (DIET). The exams are held in the various board centres that are situated in Jammu, Kashmir, Leh, Srinagar and many more divisions. The results have been declared for both government and private students.
